As a CBRE Technical Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing engineering operations while guiding a team of technicians, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless facility performance.
Candidates must reside in either southern California or Phoenix, AZ.
This role sits within our Engineering and Technical Services function-responsible for delivering expert support through proactive maintenance, efficient system operations, and timely repairs across critical building equipment and infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Review work orders and resolve complex issues.
- Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
- Formulate and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
- Inspect the work performed by staff members.
- Determine that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Impact the quality of own work.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

The salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 per year + Bonus. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.
