In Vehicle Network Architect - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Allen Park, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Create, maintain and release in vehicle communication Network description in standard format such as Autosar. Lead Ethernet Communication strategies for In Vehicle Network. Automate the Network artifact creation workflows using various programming languages. Document the architectural requirements in standard format such as Gherkin. Collaborate cross functionally with different teams to gather and implement Ethernet specific interface requirements. Create validation plan for the Ethernet related architectural implementations. Write Ethernet communication requirements in testable (Gherkin) style format. Be up to date with the following communication standards: IEEE, Autosar, and SAE.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Software engineering, with a focus on embedded systems. 2. Embedded distributed systems (Automotive, Defense, Industry, IoT, and IT.). 3. Network architecture, protocols, and communication standards. 4. Network Analysis and Simulation tools. 5. AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive architectures. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Developing tools and scripts for AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, DBC and ARXML formats. 2. Test-Driven Development (TDD) with Gherkin for writing clear, concise, and executable specifications.
