Job description
We are seeking a Technical Data Project Manager / Data Analytics & Insights Lead to support critical data integration and reporting initiatives tied to a major business transformation. This individual will play a key role in driving data warehouse and reporting projects, partnering across business and IT teams to gather requirements, solve reporting challenges, and deliver scalable solutions.

What You'll Do
- Support multiple data warehouse and reporting implementation projects from planning through execution
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements and align on project goals, scope, and deliverables
- Help drive solutions for new and converted Power BI reports, working through tickets/issues from intake to implementation
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, meeting notes, requirements, status reports, and related documentation
- Monitor progress, identify risks/issues, and help implement mitigation plans to keep initiatives on track
- Lead or support requirements gathering sessions and facilitate productive cross-functional discussions
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs
- Analyze large sets of data to identify trends, pull KPIs, and support reporting needs
- Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders at all levels regarding progress, issues, and next steps, This role offers the opportunity to support high-impact Data Analytics & Insights integration projects tied to a major acquisition. You'll work closely with the VP of IT, Director of Data Analytics, and business leaders while gaining exposure to enterprise initiatives, modern Microsoft technologies, and meaningful cross-functional work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience in project coordination, business analysis, technical project management, or a similar role
- Experience supporting data warehouse, reporting, or analytics implementation projects
- Strong experience with:
- Power BI
- SQL / SQL queries / SQL Server
- JIRA
- DAX
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- Strong understanding of business analysis and project management methodologies
- Ability to review large amounts of data and extract meaningful KPIs and insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across business, technical, and leadership audiences
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and driving clarity across cross-functional teams, * Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Experience with data models, data processes, and reporting ecosystems in Azure/Power BI environments
- Experience leading IT requirements gathering sessions
- Background in insurance, contract administration, or finance

Important Work Requirements
- This is a hybrid onsite role based in Strongsville, Ohio
- Candidates must be local to the area or within a reasonable commuting distance and able to work onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

This is a Contract position based out of Strongsville, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
