Embedded Software Test Engineer

Drive projects with supervision and guidance. Collaborate with project System Integrator (SI) and Test Engineers to review the requirements. Drive technical discussions to build test plans (SW, SI and Test Engineer). Work with Test Architect and respective EES V&V leaders to scope the projects. Design and develop Test Setup to execute all test cases. Review Test Plans and Test schedule with Stakeholders. Monitor Defect status on projects, follow through on severity and status (Cancel, Defer, New project etc.). Plan (Rational), coordinate, and execute specific assigned programs/projects, e.g. Service App, module and related parts. Execution (Key Performance Indicators) Requirement Analysis for test feasibility. Development of Exploratory Test cases. Test execution and Failure Analysis. Report and track of all logged defects. Execute Assigned Test Activity. Execute test plans (Drop plans), analyze test results, report issues and generate formal test reports. Proactively engage with cross functional teams to share, mitigate and drive risk resolution.

Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time". Required expertise/knowledge includes:

• Understanding of HW trouble shooting and Embedded C.
• Experience in embedded software development or testing domain.
• Experience with Microcontrollers and networked systems.
• Experience with basic networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, MQTT, WiFi, Bluetooth.
• BLE/WIFI protocol Failure modes knowledge.
• Wireless Protocol Analyzer knowledge.
• Google Apt Script Developer.
• Pytest Framework.
• Defect Triage Management., REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 1 year of experience in the offered position or closely related occupation.
