Job description

Supports a secure, world-wide, and highly reliable communications?infrastructure by providing Architecture, Design, Development, Testing and?Implementation of Network Services for Wide?Area Networks (WAN), Campus Area Networks (CAN), Data Center Networks (DCN), and Satellite Communications (SATCOM)., Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer (Deployment Technician) to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms. #MDFSP

Requirements

Do you have experience in Site surveys?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree with 3 years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Associate's degree with 7 years of experience or a high school diploma with 9 years of experience is required.

  • Active DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher is required.
  • Knowledge of networking equipment and boxes.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys and optimize network topologies.
  • Experience preparing site installation and test reports.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
