Job description

e are seeking a highly motivated Systems Test Engineer to contribute to complex aerospace i ntegration and validation programmes. This position involves working within a multidisciplinary e ngineering environment to support ground and flight-based verification activities across critical a ircraft systems. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge testing methodologies, data-driven e ngineering, and fast-paced operational delivery. P, * xecute system-level validation activities across mechanical and fluid-based aircraft s

ubsystems within a live engineering environment. *

  • upport the end-to-end lifecycle of airborne test campaigns, including preparation, c

onfiguration verification, and active participation during test operations. *

  • enerate comprehensive and well-structured technical documentation, capturing test results, o

bservations, and engineering insights. *

  • nalyse large datasets obtained from testing activities, applying statistical techniques and e

ngineering judgement to interpret system behaviours. *

  • nvestigate anomalies identified during testing, contributing to structured troubleshooting p

rocesses and supporting root cause investigations. *

  • ork closely with cross-functional teams, including design, operations, and validation s

pecialists, to communicate technical findings and propose solutions. *

  • perate efficiently under tight deadlines, adapting to shifting priorities within a dynamic p

roject environment. *

  • ontinuously adopt new tools, digital capabilities, and engineering approaches to enhance testing efficiency and output quality. S

Requirements

Do you have experience in Python?, * trong foundational knowledge of aerospace systems and their operational principles. *

  • bility to quickly understand and adopt new tools, workflows, and internally developed systems. *
  • esilience and adaptability when working in high-pressure, delivery-focused environments. *
  • dvanced data manipulation and analysis capability, particularly using Microsoft Excel. *
  • lear and precise technical communication skills, with a focus on structured reporting. *
  • nalytical mindset with exposure to data processing techniques such as signal analysis and mathematical modelling. *
  • rogramming capability (e.g. Python or similar) for automation, data handling, or analysis is advantageous. E

XPERIENCE: *

  • emonstrated experience within an aerospace or high-integrity engineering environment. *
  • nvolvement in system verification, validation, or performance testing activities. *
  • ackground in processing, interpreting, and reporting on engineering data. *
  • ractical experience in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, or investigative engineering tasks. *
  • xposure to integrated system testing or operational test environments is beneficial but not essential.
