Job description

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. As a customer advocate, this individual is responsible for reporting on, identifying, triaging, and facilitating the resolution of bugs in collaboration with engineering teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving user experience, diligent in reporting issues, and effective in communicating updates to both technical and leadership teams. This role is suited for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Delivery Of Marketing Campaigns - Accountable for delivering complex Unica campaigns and journeys, following established standards and patterns.
  • Technical Standards - Drives technical decisions and agreed ways of working within Unica, coaching and mentoring other developers in the process to achieve better outcomes and consistency.
  • Audience Selection & Campaign Logic - Builds and maintains audience selection, segmentation, and offer eligibility logic across assigned campaigns and journeys.
  • Cross-Channel Consistency - Supports cross-channel consistency in Unica campaign logic and configuration, helping ensure a seamless, compliant customer experience across outbound touchpoints.
  • Platform Performance & Resilience - Monitors and helps optimise Unica platform performance, scalability, and reliability, identifying issues early and supporting defect reduction and operational stability.
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Chapter Collaboration - Works closely with product, marketing and technology stakeholders to resolve dependencies, align delivery, and influence others to drive better outcomes for customers. Lead on the delivery of new propositions and represent the team externally.
  • Continuous Improvement & Ways of Working - Supports technical quality assurance and UAT activities, helping ensure campaigns are delivered with high success rates and minimal rework.
  • Platform Evolution & Change Delivery - Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting enhancements to tooling, ways of working, and Unica platform evolution aligned to transformation goals., We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and all offers of employment for this role are subject to background checks, including criminal (DBS) and financial checks to meet the regulators standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in campaign development and technical configuration within large-scale environments
  • Proven expertise in platforms such as Pega, Unica and/or related campaign management tools
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and backlog management
  • Understanding of compliance, governance, and data integrity standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good senior stakeholder engagement and communication capability
