Senior Data Engineer (GCP/Platform)

We're working with an early-stage, well-funded tech-led start-up. They're looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to take ownership of their growing platform and help scale it as the business expands globally. What you'll be doingThis is a key hire for the business, with real ownership from day one and scope to grow into a broader leadership role as the company scales; You'll sit at the centre of a highly technical team of scientists and engineers, taking ownership of a growing data platform and evolving it as the business scales. This is a hands-on role where you'll build, improve and own pipelines, internal tools and platform services end-to-end. As Senior Data Platform Engineer, you'll take full ownership of the existing data platform and evolve it as the business grows. You'll work across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and internal tools. A big part of the role is turning experimental workflows and scripts into reliable, production-ready systems that scientists can trust and use daily. You'll manage and extend a GCP-first platform, working with tools like BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, and and so much more. Sound like you?
