Senior Backend Engineer

A well-funded, early-stage security data platform backed by top-tier VCs is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to help build some of the fastest, most scalable data infrastructure in the industry - systems that search petabytes of logs in seconds, process millions of documents a day, and push the limits of low-latency, high-throughput architecture.

What you'll be working on:

• Building and optimising high-performance backend systems at massive scale
• Designing data processing pipelines handling millions of events daily
• Working on search and query infrastructure that makes enormous datasets feel instant
• Contributing across the full backend stack in a high-trust, low-process environment

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a strong systems focus
• Proficiency in one or more systems languages - Rust, C/C++ or Go
• Solid grounding in databases, distributed systems, and data pipelines
• Someone who ships fast, thinks deeply, and cares about the quality of the end product

• Salary up to $250k + meaningful equity at an early stage with serious VC backing
