Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Epic Tapestry Analyst to join our innovative healthcare technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Epic Tapestry platform, ensuring seamless integration with various healthcare systems and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your expertise will drive system enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to implement scalable solutions that meet organizational needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to transforming healthcare through cutting-edge technology., * Analyze and maintain the Epic Tapestry platform, including configuration, customization, and system upgrades to support clinical and administrative workflows.

  • Develop and implement solution architectures that integrate Epic Tapestry with other enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and various cloud services like AWS and Azure.
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data migration, reporting, and analytics to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to enhance system performance through load balancing, system hardening, and security measures such as cloud security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and vulnerability management.
  • Support system design efforts by applying principles of systems engineering, software development lifecycle (SDLC), microservices architecture, and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems (Windows/Linux), databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle), web services (SOAP/RESTful APIs), and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Conduct system assessments for vulnerability threats using threat intelligence techniques; perform regular vulnerability assessments and system hardening to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Participate in Agile project teams by contributing to sprint planning, user story development, testing cycles, and documentation for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Certified Records Manager (CRM) certification?, Do you have experience in eTapestry?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.

  • Proven experience working with Epic Tapestry or similar electronic health record (EHR) platforms in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture design principles, and systems integration methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes, SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and web services such as RESTful APIs and SOAP.

  • Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, Ruby on Rails or similar technologies.

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as VMware virtualization (ESXi), Kubernetes container orchestration, load balancing techniques, GPO management, DHCP configuration, DNS setup, firewall management, VPNs, and network security protocols.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable solutions; experience with virtualization tools like VMware or WDS is a plus.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in debugging complex software issues across operating systems including Windows and Linux environments.

  • Experience working within Agile methodologies; familiarity with SDLC processes is essential for successful project delivery.
