Job description

Join our dynamic team as a NOC Technician (Telecom Support), where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and supporting our critical telecommunications infrastructure. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability and performance of our communication networks, making a real difference every day., * Monitor network operations and troubleshoot issues related to computer networking, including LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN connections.

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software problems across various operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure components including servers (Windows Server, Linux), firewalls, routers, switches, and Meraki devices.
  • Use tools like SCCM, GPO, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and Active Directory to track incidents, deploy updates, and manage user access.
  • Conduct analysis of network performance issues and escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Assist with desktop support tasks such as troubleshooting computer hardware issues and supporting mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure network security through firewall management and configuration of security protocols like TCP and TCP/IP.

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS administration?, * Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting software or hardware issues.

  • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, TCP/IP protocols, and network administration.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows (including Microsoft Windows Server), macOS, and Linux.
  • Experience managing computer hardware components and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of security tools such as firewalls, Active Directory, GPOs (Group Policy Objects), BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira for incident management.
  • Ability to analyze network performance metrics and resolve connectivity issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide clear guidance to users and collaborate with technical teams effectively.
