Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle HCM Core Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on implementation and domain expertise to join Ford's global HR Technology team. As the product/technology subject matter expert for Oracle Core HCM, you will provide strategic leadership and hands-on delivery to enhance Ford's Core HR, Workforce Structures, Compensation, and connected technologies - promoting operational excellence and driving efficiency and innovation across the company.
You will be the lead interface with Digital HR, HR Centers of Excellence, and IT counterparts - ensuring Oracle tools are maximized to achieve Ford's strategic goals while delivering an exceptional user experience globally. The ideal candidate brings prior Oracle HCM implementation partner experience and a proven ability to drive complex, global HR technology programs.
Core HCM Configuration & Implementation:
- Lead end-to-end Oracle HCM Core configuration including Workforce Structures, Person Management, Employment Model, and Absence Management
- Design and configure enterprise-wide org structures, job and position hierarchies, and compensation structures aligned with Ford's global HR framework
- Configure and maintain the Oracle HCM security model: data roles, job roles, duty roles, and field-level access
- Develop and manage Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher reports, and OTBI dashboards for HR operations and leadership reporting
- Support integration design between Oracle HCM Core and downstream/upstream systems - payroll, finance, workforce analytics, and ORC
- Ensure HCM system integrity and compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations globally
Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery:
- 10+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience with hands-on Core HCM configuration and implementation expertise
- Minimum 3 full-lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud Core implementations as a Techno-functional
- Previous experience as an Oracle HCM Implementation Partner strongly preferred
- Proven track record in large, complex enterprise environments - automotive, manufacturing, or Fortune 100 preferred
- Act as the lead interface between Digital HR, HR COEs, and IT counterparts - serving as Oracle Core HCM subject matter expert
- Collaborate with business owners to develop technology solutions that meet short- and long-term requirements, considering global scope
- Oversee analyst work in the design, testing, delivery, and maintenance of system enhancements
- Drive implementation of new functionality including change management, training, and stakeholder communication
- Participate in meetings and deliver presentations to explain project progress to HR leaders and senior stakeholders
- Lead HR-cycle plan activities: goal planning, performance management, and annual compensation review cycles within the platform
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Core modules: Workforce Structures, Person Management, Employment Model, Absence Management
- Fast Formula development and debugging for eligibility rules, validation logic, and workflow automation
- HDL / HSDL for data migration and ongoing mass updates
- HCM Extracts, OTBI, and BI Publisher for reporting and analytics
- Oracle HCM security model: data roles, job roles, duty roles, and field-level security
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) familiarity for Core HCM integration scenarios
- Functional experience with Oracle Workforce Compensation
- Agile delivery experience - 2+ years working within Agile teams, * Oracle HCM Cloud certification (Core HR, Absence, or related module)
- 5+ years hands-on with Oracle Learn and 3+ years with Talent/Performance Management
- Master's degree in Human Resources, MIS, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with Oracle Global HR and multi-country implementations
- Prior experience supporting Ford or other Tier 1 automotive OEM HR Technology programs
- Proven experience in a dynamic product management or product ownership role
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
