Senior Database Engineer

Provide technical expertise supporting a U.S. Government customer. Responsibilities include maintaining and optimizing MongoDB or MariaDB databases, deployment, debugging, scaling, and working within Agile environments., * Deploy, manage, and optimize MongoDB or MariaDB databases.

• Debug and troubleshoot performance issues and optimization problems.
• Scale databases to meet changing requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and independently solve problems.

• Extensive experience with MongoDB or MariaDB.
• Deployment and management of the database.
• Debugging optimization issues.
• Scaling databases.
• Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• 10+ years of DBE experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or five years of DBE experience may substitute.

Desired Skills

• Python, Django or Flask.
• Micro-Service Model.
• AWS, C2S or other cloud experience.
• Docker.
• Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs.
• JSON and/or XML serialization.
• Jira, Confluence.
• Experience working in Agile environment.

Salary Range

$170,000 to $260,000. Equal Opportunity Employer
