Job description

  • Lead hardware and software technology roadmap for manufacturing systems, business applications, cybersecurity, and ERP in support of digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive end-to-end Industry 4.0 automation from interfaces and data capture to analysis, dashboards, and reporting,.
  • Partner cross-functionally and with leadership to identify technology improvement opportunities that support performance and reliability.
  • Continuously improve leveraging of real-time manufacturing data, analytics, and AI tools to streamline predictive maintenance, production scheduling, quality management, and process optimization processes.
  • Lead cybersecurity efforts and develop best practices across all business areas for risk management and access control, data security and protection, and system backups and safeguards.
  • Manage all related vendors, system upgrades, project strategy and prioritization, asset management and planning, budgets development and tracking, process documentation and training, and project rollout and support.
  • Lead internal IT support, help desk and issue resolution, user adoption, and continuous improvement of IT services.

Requirements

Seeking a talented IT professional with digital manufacturing systems expertise to manage all IT, AI, and automation systems across a highly automated manufacturing organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a mix of IT leadership and strong manufacturing systems experience and the ability to connect production floor technology with ERP systems, manage and improve data flow and system performance, and support data driven strategies and leadership decisions., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. Advance degree/certification(s) a plus.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, including digital manufacturing systems (IIoT, factory automation, Industry 4.0), IT infrastructure management, business and ERP systems administration, and department management.
  • Strong background with ERP, manufacturing execution and data systems, networks, servers, cloud platforms, endpoints, cybersecurity, and business applications.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with advanced automation, robotics, connected equipment, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Ability to lead both strategic projects and daily technical support priorities. Strong vendor management, budgeting, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional team building skills.
