Job description
The Systems Administrator manages and maintains our project management and knowledge management systems to enable effective delivery of client services and leverage information for continuous improvement. The successful person will ensure systems are effectively utilized, reliable and aligned with the team needs to support high quality project execution and continuous improvement., * Manage and administer our project management system, currently Trimble Unity Construct (TUC) and accompanying mobile platform, Trimble Unity Field (TUF), and other company systems as assigned.
- Administer system changes, modifications, and enhancements such as modules, new workflows, custom reports, and related updates to ensure all changes are functioning properly; maintain a system changes log with timely updates for recordkeeping purposes.
- Observe, document, and raise awareness of system needs, required resources, and potential gaps, including practical approaches to close or eliminate those gaps in the system.
- Serve as Real Projectives' primary point of contact with system vendors for support, performance, troubleshooting, and administration.
- Coordinate with the vendor's in-house account representative and/or business analyst to address performance, quality, issues, resolutions, and user license tracking.
- Deliver systems orientation and training for new employee onboarding.
- Lead and facilitate bi-weekly PM Systems Committee meetings to outline deliverables, establish priorities, and plan appropriate system strategies.
- Maintain system documentation, including processes, protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Develop reporting tools and templates to support data-driven decision making.
- Stay abreast of the latest system updates, upgrades, new features, and services to anticipate how best to adapt and align services to meet future needs.
- Demonstrate professionalism, timely service delivery, and a commitment to positive internal customer experiences., * Foster productive relationships with and engage systems vendors and their account and support teams.
- Process vendor work orders and service agreements as needed.
- Track schedules and coordinate with resources to ensure timely completion of special projects and initiatives underway.
- Monitor progress and issues on all active initiatives and adjust as necessary to overcome hurdles and achieve expectations.
- Provide timely communications and act to resolve issues with expediency and diligence.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, * Experience working within project management systems, enterprise software platforms, or comparable technology environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and system reporting tools preferred.
- Familiar with SharePoint, Power and certifications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to support technology adoption and process improvement initiatives.
HOURS:
The position will be full-time and at-will employment. General work hours will be as needed based on system priorities, projects, and internal support requirements. Additional hours may be necessary during system upgrades, implementations, or critical issue resolution periods.
