Job description

  • :Position will be working in the Mainframe platform support group
  • .Candidate must have Mainframe application support experience
  • .Client is seeking three identical Senior Specialty Systems Operations Engineers to join a Mainframe Production Support team supporting critical applications in a highly specialized, non-standard environment
  • .This role requires strong hands-on mainframe application support experience and the ability to work in a follow-the-sun model alongside offshore team

.Key Responsibilities

  • :Provide Level 2/3 production support for Automated Credit, Rewards, and Credit Card Hub application
  • sMonitor production systems and ensure system stability and uptim
  • eAnalyze and troubleshoot failed mainframe jobs (JCL
  • )Perform root cause analysis and support ad hoc job execution
  • sPartner with Production Control to restart and recover failed job
  • sRespond to business user requests and application team need
  • sMaintain and update incident tracking (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence
  • )Monitor and respond to application group mailboxe
  • sDocument incidents, resolutions, and create JIRA stories for follow-u, * s)India team provides overnight coverage, handing off every 12 hou
