Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Technical SME to provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and hands-on expertise across cloud transformation, migration, modernization, and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure, security, automation, and DevOps practices while serving as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders., * Serve as the technical authority for cloud architecture, infrastructure, and cloud-native solutions.

  • Design and review cloud solutions for scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises environments to the cloud.
  • Provide guidance on cloud governance, security, compliance, and best practices.
  • Support cloud platform implementation, deployment, and operational activities.
  • Collaborate with architects, application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using automation tools.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
  • Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability strategies.
  • Create technical documentation, standards, and architecture artifacts.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across cloud projects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of IT infrastructure and cloud engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Microsoft (Azure)
  • Google (GCP)
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and cloud governance.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep).
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Multi-cloud architecture experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms.
  • Experience with serverless architectures.
  • Cloud security and compliance expertise.
  • Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
  • Exposure to AI/ML cloud services.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud transformations.
