Job description

The team is looking for a rate "T-Shaped" data professional who combines elite business communication with hands on technical execution. This role requires not just a builder, but a problem solver who can navigate corporate bureaucracy and sub-optimal tech stacks to deliver executive ready solutions. You will be responsible for end to end delivery from interpreting ambiguous executive requests to automating the final data platform., As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead Advanced AI and NLP initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge techniques in Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve complex business challenges and optimize decision-making processes across global markets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven automation into business intelligence workflows, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation. Your expertise in Machine Learning Algorithms, Prompt Engineering and NLP-Driven solutions will be instrumental in refining AI applications. This position demands proven leadership in AI projects, technical expertise in fine-tuning LLMs and the ability to mentor Junior Data Scientists while driving innovations that align with business needs, * Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

  • Plan and lead end-to-end analytics life-cycle including:
  1. Requirements Gathering
  2. Problem Formulation
  3. Data Grooming & Exploration
  4. Model Prototyping, Validation and Production Deployment
  • Develop and fine-tune LLM-based AI solutions, optimizing multilingual applications
  • Utilize prompt engineering techniques to refine AI interactions and improve model efficiency
  • Lead exploratory analyses to establish links across datasets and find valuable data correlations
  • Apply NLP modeling techniques (e.g., entity recognition, sentiment analysis, text generation)
  • Guide junior data scientists, fostering innovation and collaboration
  • Present findings, suggested actions and strategic recommendations to executives and stakeholders
  • Ensure model scalability, adaptability and modular architecture across AI projects

Requirements

  • Strong experience in SQL, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Extensive expertise in LLMs and prompt engineering; able to articulate the risks, limitations as well as build creative solutions outside the traditional scope/limitations of the technologies. (GPT, BERT, LLaMA)
  • Ability to fine-tune and optimize AI models for specialized applications
  • Expertise in data manipulation, machine learning algorithms, and statistical modeling
  • Experience with Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark) and ETL processes
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, data warehouses, and streaming services
  • Proven track record of leading AI-driven automation and NLP research projects
  • Strong analytical skills with command over advanced mathematical concepts (probability, statistics, PDEs, calculus)

Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

  • 5 years experience with data manipulation and statistical modeling as a Scientist, Consultant, Architect, DBA or Engineer
  • 5 years experience in SQL/R/Python/SAS Programming

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or competitive intelligence analytics
  • Background in telecommunications industry or other consumer-based sectors
  • Experience with Teradata (SQL, UDFs, explain plans, performance tuning)
  • Operations-research experience focused on large labor operations (field ops, technical support, and sales)
  • Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, HIVE, SAS, SPSS, Alteryx, Linux
  • Familiarity with text analysis, text mining, and AI-driven automation tools
  • Publications or research contributions in LLM and NLP applications

Preferred Education Master's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field
