Senior Software Engineer - Java - Up To $160,000 P/A + Comp - Boston

This is an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to work on highly distributed, business-critical systems within a fast-moving engineering environment, collaborating with talented teams who are passionate about building quality software and embracing the next generation of AI-assisted development. The role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and helping drive smarter, more efficient ways of working through modern engineering tooling and AI-enabled practices.

What you'll need:

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience with Java and event-driven architectures using Kafka
• Experience building scalable backend systems and working across modern distributed environments
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and an interest in integrating AI-enabled development practices into day-to-day engineering workflows
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineers, contribute to technical direction, and support engineering best practices across the team
