Job description

We have a 6 - 9+ month contract to hire position open for a Network Engineer position located in Seattle. This is a hybrid, primarily work from home position but may need to go into the office for emergency situations in Seattle.

  • ch /The Network Engineer-III is responsible for the planning, design, configuration, integration & installation of our growing local area network (LAN) and/or wide area network (WAN). The Network Engineer-III will provide leadership in technical support and documentation to various departments and users with regard to the global infrastructure. The Network Engineer-III serves as a liaison to gather network requirements from internal customers, vendors, and other third-party provid
  • ers.This role will have a strong focus on F5 technologies, including BIG-IP LTM, GTM, Remote access, traffic management, and application delivery optimization across the enterprise network. Other responsibilities will include Forescout device profiling in a Software Defined Access environment, and managing SolarWinds device monitoring for the Data Center and Enterprise environm, etwork Perform vendor recommendation/selection and coordination for hardware testing, installations, and up

grades.

Requirements

  • eHigh School Diploma or regional equivalent require
  • dBachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Network Engineering. At the manager's discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requiremen
  • tMinimum 5-7 years of recent experience with network design and build-out of LAN/WANs and/or large-scale network retrofits and remediation
  • sHands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP solutions, including load balancing and application delivery
  • .Knowledge of SolarWinds Monitoring and Forescout NA
  • CMust have certifications: CCNA and F5 10
  • 1Preferred certifications: F5 201, F5 301, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP preferred, CCIE (R&S, SP, or DC) highly preferred (or equivalent experience), Python PCE
  • PAdvanced level experience working with most of the following technologies/applications: MPLS
