System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced HP-UX System Administrator with 5+ years of experience in managing, maintaining, and supporting HP-UX server environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in system administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, patch management, and ensuring high availability of enterprise systems., * Install, configure, administer, and maintain HP-UX servers.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS issues.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and recovery operations.
• Manage user accounts, file systems, storage, and security configurations.
• Support high-availability and disaster recovery environments.
• Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting.
• Work with application, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve system-related issues.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.

• 5+ years of HP-UX system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of HP-UX 11i environments.
• Experience with shell scripting (KornShell/Bash).
• Expertise in system performance monitoring and tuning.
• Knowledge of LVM, file systems, backups, and recovery procedures.
• Experience with server security, patch management, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and enterprise infrastructure.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Serviceguard clustering.
• Knowledge of SAN storage and enterprise backup tools.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix administration environments., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on HP-UX administration experience.
