Job description
- Partner with product, architecture, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Contribute hands-on to application development, system design, and technical delivery.
- Lead technical discussions with stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.
- Help guide architecture decisions across multiple teams or pods.
- Build and support scalable, modern applications using AWS, TypeScript/Node.js, PostgreSQL, and microservices.
- Own delivery accountability and help drive projects from design through implementation.
- Support AI experimentation efforts and help define best practices around AI/LLM engineering where applicable.
Requirements
- Strong system design and architecture experience in modern software environments.
- Hands-on development experience with the ability to contribute directly to coding and technical implementation.
- Experience with AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Full-stack engineering competency, with a strong backend focus.
- Experience designing and building microservices or modern distributed architectures.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, architecture, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Strong communication skills and comfort leading technical conversations.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate in a high-ownership, multi-team environment.
- Nice to have: experience with LLMs, AI experimentation, agentic AI concepts, or helping define AI engineering strategy and practices.

This person will serve as a key technical partner across product, architecture, and engineering teams, helping translate product requirements into scalable technical designs while staying hands-on with development.
