This role will own end-to-end program delivery across business functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Commercial) while ensuring strict compliance with GxP/CSV, SOX, FDA/UDI, and Pharma Quality standards. In addition, this role includes Cutover Management leadership, responsible for strategy, planning, execution, and governance of all cutover activities across business, IT, data, technical, and manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate has hands-on delivery of at least one S/4HANA brownfield implementation, strong SAP Activate knowledge, proven system integrator management experience, and extensive execution of cutover cycles, mock conversions, and downtime orchestration in complex global landscapes. Program & Delivery Management Lead the end-to-end S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion lifecycle: discovery * planning * build * testing * cutover * hypercare * stabilization. Own program governance: scope, budget, schedule, RAID, dependencies, KPIs, and executive reporting. Manage SAP Activate across Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run-including hybrid Agile/Wave-based delivery. Facilitate cross-functional governance forums, steering committees, and risk/escalation trajectories. Brownfield-Specific Execution Drive SAP Readiness Check, Simplification Item evaluation, Custom Code Analysis, sizing, and compatibility validation. Oversee technical conversion with BASIS & infra: SUM/DMO, Maintenance Planner, Stack XML generation, dual maintenance, downtime reduction planning. Lead custom code remediation, Fiori activation, and Business Partner (BP) conversion. Define and manage conversion strategy for key data objects: FI docs, open items, materials, batch/serial, BP, etc. Coordinate multiple mock conversions, dry runs, and system preparation activities. Cutover Management (Expanded Section for Pharma S/4HANA Brownfield) Cutover Strategy & Governance Lead the complete Cutover lifecycle for the S/4HANA brownfield program across all business functions and global sites. Develop the comprehensive Cutover Strategy, aligned with pharma regulatory, GMP, and validated system requirements. Establish cutover governance: checkpoints, approvals, command center structure, and communication flow. Cutover Planning Build and maintain a detailed Integrated Cutover Plan covering: Technical conversion activities Functional steps Business operations freeze windows Regulatory and validation checkpoints MES/WMS/MES/LIMS/PLM and serialization integration tasks Plan for downtime minimization and coordinate downtime playbooks for manufacturing and distribution environments. Mock Cutover & Dress Rehearsals Lead multiple Mock Cutovers, evaluating: system conversion duration data readiness dependencies & integration stability business process continuity readiness Identify bottlenecks and drive performance tuning with BASIS, data, and infra teams. Pharma/Regulated Process Focus Ensure GxP & CSV-aligned cutover documentation including: validated procedures for transitions audit trail controls change control approvals batch-impact assessments Align with 21 CFR Part 11, UDI, ISO 13485, and internal QMS procedures. Data Migration & Conversion Readiness Manage data migration workstreams, ensuring: cleansing mapping validation mock conversion testing reconciliation & signoffs Lead cutover-related data validation with QA, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance. Cutover Command Center Execution Run the cutover command center during go-live: Coordinate 24×7 execution teams Manage issue triage, escalation, and resolution Ensure adherence to freeze periods and validation controls Communicate milestone progress to leadership Go-Live & Hypercare Cutover Support Ensure deployment readiness and final cutover checklist signoff. Requirements
At least one end-to-end S/4HANA brownfield conversion delivered in a global environment. Strong command of SAP Activate, RAID management, budget control, and executive communications. Experience in life sciences / medical devices / pharmaceuticals with GxP/CSV and SOX compliance. Proven leadership of system integrators and distributed teams; adept in hybrid Agile execution (Scrum + Stage-Gate). Familiarity with SUM/DMO, Simplification Items, Fiori, Business Partner conversion, and custom code remediation. Demonstrated expertise in multi-workstream coordination across core SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM; EWM/TM and MDG preferred). Preferred PMP, Prince2, PMI-ACP, CSM/SAFe, or SAP Activate Project Manager certification. Experience with SAP Signavio, Focused Build, SAP Cloud ALM/SolMan, and Tricentis Tosca. Knowledge of serialization/UDI, labeling, and quality systems in medical devices or pharma. Background with data migration strategies and tools (e.g., Migration Cockpit, Data Services) and archiving. Familiarity with security design, GRC, and SoD in regulated environments. Experience coordinating multi-region go-lives and downtime minimization strategies., * Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
