Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain IBM Netcool/OMNIbus, Netcool Impact, Netcool Probes, and Netcool Gateways.
- Develop event collection, normalization, enrichment, and correlation solutions across telecom and IT infrastructure domains.
- Build and configure rules, probes, gateways, policies, and automation workflows within IBM Netcool/NOI platforms.
- Develop custom adapters, APIs, and integrations with northbound and southbound systems.
- Implement alarm suppression, deduplication, threshold management, enrichment, delay handling, and root cause analysis.
- Optimize FM databases and message bus infrastructure to efficiently process high-volume event streams.
- Integrate Fault Management systems with Inventory, Topology, GIS, Performance Management, and Trouble Ticketing platforms.
- Implement event-driven automation, closed-loop remediation, auto-ticketing, and auto-healing solutions.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enable predictive fault analytics, anomaly detection, noise reduction, and intelligent event management.
- Support data migration, alarm model harmonization, and integration architecture initiatives.
- Develop service impact analysis and cross-domain fault correlation capabilities.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced IBM Netcool Developer / AIOps Engineer with strong Telecom domain expertise to design, develop, and support enterprise Fault Management (FM) and AIOps solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus, Netcool Operations Insight (NOI), AI Ops, event correlation, automation, and multi-vendor telecom network monitoring environments.
