In the process, the code becomes increasingly complex and accumulates technical debt. We are all aware of this in the development team, but how do we explain to management that it makes sense to reduce technical debt at an early stage? In this presentation, I will share my experience from various contexts and give recommendations on how to overcome the communication barrier between management and development teams. ## Speaker ### [JR](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/@jr) Consulting Software Architect ## Related talks at this congress - [From boy scouting to redrawing the landscape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2024/sessions/46-from-boy-scouting-to) — timtebeek - [Grappling With Clunky Old Software?
