This talk consists of two parts: Presentation: I will introduce a well-defined architectural and practical approach to build highly isolated yet inter-communicating application modules that compose a monolith system that is still easy-to-build, test and maintain. I will highlight the most challenging parts of such an architecture (from the database layer to the UI layer) and best practices and suggestions to overcome these difficulties. Live Coding: I will use the ABP Framework and .NET to develop an example modular solution with live coding. ## Speaker ### [Halil İbrahim Kalkan](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/@halil-ibrahim-kalkan) Co-Founder at Volosoft ## Related talks at this congress - [Building Multi-Tenant ASP.NET Core Applications: Best Practices and Real-World Solutions](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/758-building-multi) — Alper Ebicoglu - [Modular Secrets to Lightning-Fast Android Builds](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/834-modular-secrets-to) — Mohamed Gamal - [Developing ASP.NET Core Microservices with Dapr: A practical guide](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/827-developing-asp-net) — Marc Müller - [Azure-Well Architected Framework - designing mission critical workloads in practice](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/622-azure-well) — Paweł Siwek
