## Description

Current payment systems weren't designed for AI agents, machine-to-machine transactions, or high-frequency microtransactions. As the internet evolves toward autonomous systems, we need payment infrastructure that can keep pace.

We’ll explore next-generation payment architectures, including existing open web standards, blockchain solutions, and micropayment systems that will enable value transfer in tomorrow's digital economy. We'll examine the technical challenges and emerging standards that could reshape how machines, agents, and applications exchange value at internet scale.
