I'd like to talk about why Developer Evangelism is one of the most important things to do these days, why teaching others can be more rewarding than working on software yourself, why sharing knowledge is the key to a healthy relationship for any cloud business, and how all that's related to employer branding as well. In more than 25+ years of software development, I've been there and done that. It's time to talk about what do to with all that knowledge and experience! Be prepared for an educational, sometimes funny, satirical yet helpful journey towards Developer Evangelism, open-source, employer branding, and other related topics. ## Speaker ### [Tim Cadenbach](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/@tim-cadenbach) DevRel @ DeepL.com, Co-creator of WeAreDotnet.io, Microsoft MVP Dev Tech. ## Related talks at this congress - [Putting Developer Experience at the Heart of Tech Recruiting](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/728-putting-developer) — Jannis Eickenroth, Linda Stauffenberg, Markus Stauffenberg - [We Are Developers: Inside the Tribe of Code, Keyboards, and Community](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/556-we-are-developers) — Francesco Napoletano - [Transforming Developer Experience: Lessons from Building a Platform Team](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/648-transforming) — Tobias Mende - [Building a Thriving Web Development Community in a Large Tech Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/598-building-a-thriving) — Jonathan Carle, Linda Bopp
