By leveraging cognitive biases, psychological principles, and neuroscience insights, we can design interfaces and workflows that feel natural to users, guide their behavior, and create habit-forming interactions. We'll explore how to reduce friction in digital products, keeping users engaged and making interactions almost instinctive. Although I'm not a developer, I'm working with developers, and our connection has always been close - once I understood the importance of the Developer Experience, it's even closer. This topic is something that I want to educate people about: as a developer it's important for you to understand how the developed product will be perceived by the users, and how you can contribute to make it even more user-friendly. ## Speaker ### [Dora Makszy](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/@dora-makszy) Product Designer, Information Architecture & Design Systems Geek ## Related talks at this congress - [The retention flywheel: designing products people don’t want to leave](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/713-the-retention) — Madalena Costa - [UX in the Dev Cycle: Moving from Handoff to Handshake](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/611-ux-in-the-dev-cycle) — Malte Breitzmann, Saskia Henatsch - [How Average Developers Can Become Great Digital Designers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/653-how-average) — Stan Bühne - [Breaking the Hardware Mindset: Overcoming Barriers to System-Level Innovation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2025/sessions/908-breaking-the) — Réka Leisztner
