## Description

The digital transformation at Deichmann is a living reality. The presentation provides a practical insight into the development and use of robotic process automation (RPA) in the Deichmann Group. It will shed light on the technological foundations, economic effects and use cases that are already leading to efficiency gains today. For us, RPA is more than just a tool for automating repetitive tasks - it is a strategic lever for relieving employees and increasing process quality. We use use cases to demonstrate its use in data processing, reporting and system integration. The next evolutionary stage is agentic AI: autonomous, AI-controlled agents that perform tasks, make decisions and adapt. In combination with generative AI, new possibilities arise, e.g. in forecasting, text creation, customer communication and campaign automation. The presentation shows how Deichmann is already using these technologies today and which organizational, ethical and technological issues play a role in this
