But what does this mean for software development? Just work harder? Or do you need to make your teams, work and processes smarter? Many books have been written on the subject, such as "Accelerate" and "Modern Software Engineering" in recent years. In this session, we'll look at the findings from the latest DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) report from their perspective. We'll demystify Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, coupling of architecture and teams, and so on – and we'll see what modern software development should be based on in the 2020s. And if you've already heard of the DORA metrics: This might not be the best choice for targeting modern software development in 2025. There's way more to it than just metrics! ## Speaker ### [Thomas Much](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/@thomas-much) Technical Agile Coach. Tech. People.
