# Using AI Without Losing Your Skills

This session looks at an important question for anyone using AI: did it just help me get the job done, or did it actually help me grow my skills? With real examples from daily technical work like messages, PR summaries, debugging, tests, and learning new topics, the talk explains how relying too much on AI can slowly take the place of the thinking that helps us build expertise.

You will get practical prompts and an easy-to-use guide to help you decide when to use AI, when to use it with care, and when it’s better not to use it.

The aim is to use AI in a responsible way. AI can help you get feedback faster, but it should not take the place of building real expertise.
