For decades the deal was simple: engineers build, sales sells. That deal just expired. Writing software has never been cheaper, yet selling it has never been more expensive. And a growing share of buyers aren't even human: AI agents now research, shortlist, and recommend products by reading your docs, your APIs, your error messages. This talk shows how distribution moved into the repository - why llms.txt, MCP servers, telemetry, and even a 403 error became revenue infrastructure - and what the fastest-growing AI-native companies like Lovable, Cursor, and n8n do differently.
