Should you optimize for the best performance you can get? maybe go with the cheapest option? or perhaps relay on automated tools and services to tell you how to rightsize? In this hands-on workshop, we'll take the scientific approach to price-performance analysis. We'll analyze different common workloads, and see that each has it's own primary bottleneck. We'll run breaking load tests, and calculate the cost per request/query/job on different compute infrastructure options. You'll leave this workshop with the confidence to optimize your workload's cost while maintaining the performance your customers expect. ## Speaker ### [Nati Cohen](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/@nati-cohen) Solutions Architect at AWS ## Related talks at this congress - [5 Years in Cloud Native: The Good, the Bad, and the Bill](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2026-europe/sessions/1112-5-years-in-cloud) — Simone Desantis - [There Is No Such Thing as a Fair DBaaS Benchmark](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2026-europe/sessions/1329-there-is-no-such) — Daniel Seybold - [The Hidden Costs of CPU Limits in Kubernetes](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2026-europe/sessions/1444-the-hidden-costs-of) — Pavel Malyarevsky - [Strategies for Efficient Log Management in Large-Scale Kubernetes Clusters](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2026-europe/sessions/1134-strategies-for) — Aliaksandr Valialkin
