## Description

Most developers use Docker to package and ship an app, and that answer was complete five years ago. The toolchain has grown a lot. This talk walks through a normal working day and shows where the newer pieces fit.

- Docker Sandboxes provide a trust boundary around your agents, protecting your filesystem, network access, and credentials.
- Testcontainers put a real database inside your test suite so you can stop maintaining mocks or using shared infrastructure.
- Your base images can arrive already patched with Docker Hardened Images.
- Docker Scout helps you know what's in your images and even run policy evaluations to ensure your images meet the mark.
- A lot has happened in Compose, ranging from Watch to the highly requested jobs support!

Everything in the talk is free to use, and most of it is already installed as part of your existing Docker setup.
