WeAreDevelopers World Congress rescheduled to 15-16th April 2021

March 25th, 2020

Dear Community & Friends,

Every year, we look forward to connecting with you – our global developer community – at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress and sharing our vision for the future that we are building together. But given the current and expected developments around COVID-19 this year, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the WeAreDevelopers World Congress to 15-16th April 2021.

This was a tough call to make. WeAreDevelopers World Congress is our favorite way to celebrate all of you from around the world – but we need to prioritize the health and safety of you and everyone who helps put the WeAreDevelopers World Congress on.

The good news:

  • All tickets remain valid for the new date! No action is required on your part.
  • You already made a great decision. Tickets will never be cheaper.
  • And we have a special offer for our loyal community. Read more about it below.

The event’s format, the venue and the program of the conference will remain the same as what we have planned, only the date changes. We expect most of our confirmed speakers to be available for the new conference date, so far the response has been very positive. We will use the additional time gained in order to make the event an even better experience for you.

As a special thank you to our loyal community and all the support we receive from all sides every ticket holder will get an email with a personal ticket code for a free congress pass to bring a friend, colleague or co-worker with you. In these times it is important to let the community grow and become stronger than ever before.

Now that the WeAreDevelopers World Congress has been rescheduled, we are working on new exciting formats for you to get together through online videos and live-streamed content and to shorten the waiting time. We will share further details on our plans in the coming weeks. Sign up to our newsletter and stay tuned to have updates emailed directly to you.

In the meantime, we thank you so much for your trust and support – and we look forward to seeing you at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress on 15-16th April 2021!

Stay healthy and take care of yourselves!

#TogetherApart,
The WeAreDevelopers Team

I am unable to attend the conference in April 2021. What can I do?2020-03-25T18:01:48+01:00

As a young organization we generate most our revenues from major events such as the WeAreDevelopers World Congress and therefore rely on them in order to serve the developer community. This is secured by our employees, the driving force behind WeAreDevelopers, who work tirelessly to provide you with our events, platform and content throughout the year. We will use the time until April 2021 to further improve the experience at the World Congress and create additional benefits for all participants. We are also working on exciting new online conference formats that will be kicked-off in the upcoming weeks and you will be among the first ones to know and get an invitation. Therefore we ask you to consider all options to keep your ticket and take advantage of the free additional congress pass for existing ticket holders (only valid for ticket holders who keep their ticket). Please also be aware that ticket prices will not become cheaper than they are now and that already used ticket discounts cannot be used for future purchases. In the unlikely event that you cannot participate in any case we recommend to resell your ticket or to pass your ticket on to someone else. Check out the Eventbrite Help Center to edit your registration and enter the details of the new participant. If you don’t have another option and still need to cancel your registration, please follow the guidelines below to request a refund. All refund requests need to be assessed and processed manually.
