Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Senior React Native Developer - **Company:** hiyrd Inc - **Location:** United States (Remote available) - **Experience:** Expert - **Salary:** $100,000.0 - $120,000.0 - **Skills:** TypeScript, React, React Native - **Published:** October 22, 2026 - **Apply:** https://form.typeform.com/to/S4UpKMKk ## About the Role **What we're looking for:** - Strong commercial experience with **React Native, React and TypeScript** , including shipping and maintaining production iOS and Android applications. - Deep understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimisation, state management and native integrations. - Experience with **Expo, Redux Toolkit / RTK Query, Reanimated** and modern React Native development practices. - Confidence debugging native iOS and Android issues, including Xcode, CocoaPods, Gradle and performance bottlenecks. - Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication systems, third-party SDKs and payment infrastructure. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and mobile release processes. - Ability to take technical ownership, make sound architectural decisions and deliver high-quality code independently. - Comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly. **Bonus points for:** - Video streaming, HLS, media compression and high-performance feeds. - AWS, Cognito, S3, Stripe Connect or Stream Chat. - Experience building consumer social platforms, marketplaces or fintech products. - Previous experience at leading technology companies, AI labs or high-growth venture-backed startups. **We value engineering judgement, ownership and proven delivery over formal qualifications.** ## Description You'll take a leading role in developing and scaling **hiyrd's live iOS and Android platform** , working directly with our founders and engineering team. **Your responsibilities will include:** - Own and develop major parts of our React Native application, from architecture through to production deployment. - Build and optimise our short-form video experience, including recording, processing, streaming and feed performance. - Develop our creator marketplace, including paid campaigns, verification, wallet functionality and Stripe Connect payments. - Build new social, engagement and gamification features that drive user retention and platform growth. - Help evolve our verified-human platform as we expand into AI training data collection and custom dataset creation. - Improve application performance, reliability, security, testing and overall engineering standards. - Make meaningful architectural decisions and contribute to the long-term technical direction of the platform. - Work closely with the founders to turn ambitious product ideas into scalable, production-ready features. **This isn't a maintenance role.** You'll be building on an established, live product while helping shape what it becomes next.
