The lead information systems technologist performs varied and highly complex technical activities regarding the automated business needs of department employees. Responsibilities are performed under general supervision.

 * Serve as team leader for the group, providing technical guidance, coordinating work, and supporting a collaborative, high-performance environment.
 * Apply broad systems expertise, including Windows and Linux server environments, to support reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions.
 * Architect and design application and integration solutions that align with organizational standards, technical best practices, and long-term business goals.
 * Lead and coordinate implementation of technical projects, ensuring effective planning, communication, risk management, and successful delivery.
 * Manage software licensing portfolios and assess business needs to recommend compliant, cost-effective, and sustainable technology solutions.
