## About the Role

* A minimum of one (1) year experience or equivalent training in the area of facility technical operations and maintenance, copper cable and fiber optic installation, local area network (LAN) test equipment, workstation/personal computer installation, and testing of networks/electrical systems or equivalent training.
 * Able to perform and oversee tasking of all facility operations and tasking.

 * Experience in facility operations, basic network administration and data management, experience with installing and maintaining network switches, routers, fiber optic, coaxial and twisted-pair cable plants, associated software, voice, video and data networks (VTC).
 * Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
 * Must have a DOD Secret security clearance and have or be able to obtain an SSBI., DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required., As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.

## Description

The Computer Technician will perform daily assigned individual and team tasks in a large Government facility providing facilities, networking, cabling, material installation and removal, inventory management, audit and drawing package support., * Experience shall include interpersonal oral and written communications skills and experience in industry, Federal or DoD help desk support.

 * Familiarity with logistics material and approved tracking and reporting processes.
 * Familiarity with inventory and audit processes, asset management, and program Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S) management.
 * Familiarity with small and large mission essential procurement methods, processes and reporting.
