Desirable * Experience with advanced visualisation and rendering platforms such as: * Autodesk 3DS Max * Omniverse * Chaos Vantage * Chaos V-Ray * Unreal Engine * Experience with coding/programming tools including Dynamo, Python, or HTML. * Visualisation and animation tools such as Lumion or Twinmotion * Working knowledge of 4D planning tools such as Synchro Pro (or similar). * Experience with model scheduling and quantification processes aligned to NRM1. * Experience using Solibri, Trimble Connect, or Power BI. * Recognised BIM Qualification ## Description Location: Chesterfield substation - some travel to our project hub in Birmingham may be required. Laing O'Rourke are seeking a high calibre and experienced Digital Engineer to join our team, helping to deliver a major project framework for the National Grid. This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally driven professional with strong expertise in 3D modelling, 4D simulation, and 5D model-based quantification to play a key role in delivering innovative digital solutions on a landmark project. The role will be site based in Chesterfield, where we are constructing a new substation. You will support the deployment of digital solutions on a key national project - The Great Grid Upgrade.
