## About the Role

Do you have experience in Root cause analysis?, * Minimum of 7 years experience in aerospace or energy gas turbine

 * Experience in operations management and/or program management
 * Experience with special process qualification process
 * Experience in lean and continuous improvement
 * Experience in a supervisor/line management role will be considered an asset
 * Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis
 * Experience using the problem solving methodologies and tools: 8D, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Poka Yoke, etc.
 * Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products. A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
 * Ability to indluence and gain buy-in in challenging situations with a positive attitude.
 * Ability to communicate at all level of organisation
 * Expert (role model) that can work with no supervision.
 * Open mind and creativity to bring new ideas and questions current methodology and requirements, * Gas turbine: 5 years (Preferred)
 * lean and continuous improvement: 5 years (Required)
 * Root cause analysis: 5 years (Required)
 * Operations management: 5 years (Required)

## Description

* Review planning process and identify bottlenecks and opportunities to reduce leadtime.
 * Perform root cause analysis on delays and identify potential solutions to fix the issues
 * Develop and communicate weekly and daily manufacturing schedule to ensure delivery on time.
 * Create and maintain Work In Process (WIP) reports. Statusing/expediting of parts through repair cycle.
 * Host and set-up meetings with supplier and customer.
 * Provide technical support and guidance when necessary
 * Support special treatment process qualification and ensure steps are followed and requirements are met.
 * Be the main focal between the supplier and the customer
 * Provide a critical view on process and technical requirements and suggest new potential ways of working
