## About the Role

* All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions. Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree. Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.
 * Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux server administration experience (within the last 3 years).
 * Proficient with AWS. Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year).
 * Experience with either Ansible or Salt.
 * Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and AWS instances.
 * Security + cert

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

Should have working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools:

 * Linux servers
 * AWS
 * Ansible, Salt
 * Docker, Kubernetes
 * Elasticsearch, Splunk
 * Scripting (bash, Python)

## Description

* Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
 * Monitoring and patching/upgrades to Linux servers and AWS instances.
 * Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
 * Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
 * Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
 * Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
 * Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
 * Document inventory changes.
