An active security clearance is highly desirable. ## Description Lead cybersecurity support efforts for the Afloat community in alignment with DoD regulations. Ensure compliance with certification requirements for IAM Level III or equivalent. Monitor, research, and respond to Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Bulletins (IAVBs). Assess and mitigate vulnerabilities and risks associated with Windows and Linux operating systems and related components. Manage vulnerability incident reporting and ensure timely resolution. Support the DoD Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process for systems and applications. Review and provide feedback on DoD cybersecurity documents, orders, and instructions. Interpret and apply DoD policies and regulations (e.g., 8500, 5200) to operational environments.
