* Strong hands-on experience in CICS and MQ.
 * Experience in batch processing using COBOL, DB2, and VSAM.
 * Agile methodology and SDLC experience.
 * Working experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office.

Nice to Have

 * Knowledge of J2EE, web services, and cloud-based applications and their interactions with mainframe systems, preferably in AWS.
 * Knowledge of retail banking or lending., 10+ years of relevant experience.

## Description

Senior Mainframe developer with strong hands-on experience in CICS and MQ, responsible for designing, coding, and unit testing software across varying levels of complexity within an Agile environment., * Design, code, and unit test software on a predefined schedule using appropriate technologies, techniques, and tools to ensure high quality, performance, and reliability at varying levels of complexity.

 * Follow department coding standards and write well-documented programs that perform effectively and efficiently.
 * Perform system analysis and design in accordance with established procedures and policies.
 * Provide accurate estimates of time needed to complete work.
 * Proactively explore systems and continuously learn new capabilities.
 * Deliver results efficiently with minimum supervision as an effective team player.
 * Communicate clearly and professionally in both office-based and remote workplace environments.
