## About the Role

Do you have a valid Engineer in Training certification?, Do you have experience in Customer communication?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 1-3 years of related experience or Master's in Civil Engineering

 * Proficient knowledge and experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD
 * EIT preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

 * Strong communication skills are required.
 * Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities presented.

## Description

We are looking for a full-time, Design Engineer to join our growing Orlando team. This position will design structural systems for a variety of construction types, in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, distribution, data centers, commercial, industrial and parking., * Work directly with Project Manager/Engineer of Record in the development of project design, calculations, and developing assessment reports

 * Performs analysis of existing structures
 * Develop drawings or specifications for use during construction and ensures all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations
 * Assists in project coordination and meetings with the internal and external team members
 * Reviews project submittals and shop drawings
 * Visits projects during construction to learn construction practices and to provide on-site construction observation
 * Organize field data to facilitate analysis and problem solving
 * Interacts with higher level engineers and design technicians.
 * Attends client, architect, and contractor meetings
 * Learns to engage with potential clients to expand business relationships
 * Performs calculations per design specifications and industry standards
 * Utilizes Structural Design Software, such as RAM Structural Systems, ETBAS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, and TEKLA
 * Shares information across all disciplines to confirm deliverables are compliant with client expectations and established quality standards
