## About the Role

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent is required; Associate's degree in Information Systems or related field and/or information systems experience is preferred.

Knowledge and/or experience in the following is preferred:

 * Active Directory
 * Helpdesk Duties Local & Remote
 * E-mail administration
 * Remote Desktop
 * Backup & Recovery
 * Administration of security systems (Access and Surveillance)
 * New User Setup
 * User Terminations, * Knowledge or ability to quickly learn commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the technology filed.
 * Excellent interpersonal skills.
 * Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers.
 * Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
 * Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
 * Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and provide accurate information in a dynamic environment.
 * Strong work ethic with personal qualities of integrity and credibility.
 * Advance computer proficiency.
 * Knowledge in the use of Microsoft applications.

## Description

Entry level position that is responsible for supporting end users on a variety of issues. This position identifies, researches and resolves technical problems. The Information Systems Administrator participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure., * Provides technical support and guidance to users by responding to telephone calls, e-mails and personnel requests.

 * Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.
 * Assists in the installation, maintenance, and general support of systems
 * Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
 * Sets up, configures and supports internal and/or external computer and network operations.
 * Recommends upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment.
 * Maintains system efficiency.
 * Recognizes patients' rights and responsibilities and supports them in the performance of job duties; respects patient's rights to privacy and confidentiality.
 * Completes assigned paperwork/documents as directed in a timely manner.
 * Shares knowledge gained with other staff members and works as a team member.
 * Interacts with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner.
 * Performs other job related duties as assigned.
