Here's what else you'll bring: * Masters in EE/Mechanical/Mechatronics/EE/SW Engineering with 10+ yrs of experience * Extensive experience working with Automotive Systems or Mechatronics Products, from Body, Infotainment, Drive or Energy. * Strong understanding of 1st principles in Engineering, result/solution oriented * Subject matter expert in Systems Engineering, Multi-domain physics, Complex systems design with EE, SW integration. * Familiarity with SW for embedded systems, EE systems such as wiring and power distribution units. * Familiarity with A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS communication protocols and Vehicle Network tools, such as CANalyzer, CANoe, etc. * Expertise with complex problem solving, data analysis, access/interpret/drive results with extended teams. ## Description System Engineer and Feature/Function Owner is responsible for defining, developing, and managing the features and functions for vehicle infotainment and displays. These systems include but are not limited to Navigation, Off-Road mapping, Routing, Energy applications, CarPlay, Android Auto, Casting, etc. This position bridges systems engineering, digital design, software development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure functional integration and compliance with vehicle-level requirements. Most customer experiences rely heavily on the vehicle center and driver displays, which makes this role key in ensuring all display-exposed functions are working in concert. Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Infotainment and Display Functions Support Functions that are exposed through the vehicle displays must be supported end-to-end, and respective cross-domain function owners coordinated to ensure seamless customer experience and regulatory compliance. Ownership of infotainment functions means taking full accountability for the design, development, integration, validation, and performance of infotainment-related vehicle features, from concept through production and post-launch support. Project Timeline for Function Development This position is responsible for the development, integration, and validation of all assigned infotainment functions in accordance with the project timeline. Completion of functional deliverables shall align with the agreed project milestones, including but not limited to prototype builds, design verification (VFF), product validation (PVS), and vehicle launch gates. All function-level software, hardware, and test deliverables must be completed, reviewed, and approved by Scout at each milestone to enable seamless system integration and program readiness Roles and Responsibilities Overview of the roles and responsibilities of the FO are listed below for reference (scope to be adjusted further along the program development based on need). * Own the end-to-end functional architecture of assigned infotainment systems. Define and manage system and subsystem requirements (functional and non-functional). * Develop logical and physical EE architecture in coordination with system engineers and domain experts. * Responsible for system level definition, requirements from EE, SW, ME and support EE, SW architecture design, integration at system, component level.
