Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years ## Description Description: You will be the Software Engineer Staff for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries., As a Software Engineer Staff at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. You will be helping us solve the world's most difficult challenges supporting such wide-ranging domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. What You Will Be Doing As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software solutions for real-time embedded systems, including hardware in the loop (HWIL) environments. Your Responsibilities Will Include * Develop Embedded Software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher) * Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications * Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities * Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. * Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. * Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls., Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
