## About the Role

This role focuses on automating, optimizing, and enhancing cloud infrastructure deployments through CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and cloud automation. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting AWS environments, implementing DevOps best practices, and building scalable, repeatable deployment solutions., * U.S. Citizenship

 * Active TS/SCI Clearance
 * Ability to obtain DHS Suitability
 * 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering roles
 * Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
 * Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
 * Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
 * Experience with Git and version control best practices
 * Knowledge of AWS cloud services and APIs
 * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments
 * Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, or other container orchestration platforms
 * Knowledge of security automation and compliance-as-code practices
 * Experience supporting mission-critical or operational environments
 * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
 * Background in software development or systems engineering
 * Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack

Education

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
OR

 * High School Diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience

Desired Certifications

 * AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent certification

## Description

Quantum Science Solutions (QSS) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer responsible for the rapid deployment and management of secure cloud-based engagement kits used in cyber incident response and threat hunting operations., * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated cloud deployments

 * Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
 * Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources
 * Manage source control repositories and version control processes
 * Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency
 * Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities
 * Support troubleshooting and performance optimization of cloud environments
 * Collaborate with architects and engineers to improve deployment processes
 * Support security hardening and compliance automation initiatives
