Do you have experience in NIST standards?, * Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices

 * Proven expertise in Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Purview platforms

 * Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions in enterprise environments

## Description

Join our Enterprise Security Office and play a key role in protecting the organisation's people, systems, and data from evolving cyber threats. As a Security Engineer (Data Security), you'll operate at the heart of SecOps Engineering, designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud security and compliance solutions.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll work with technologies like Microsoft Intune and Purview to strengthen data protection, improve security posture, and drive continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence security strategy, and champion best practices that safeguard critical business operations.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

 * Design, deploy, and maintain data security solutions including Microsoft Purview Information Protection, DLP, and Insider Risk Management
 * Implement and enforce technical controls aligned with the organisation's Information Protection Framework
 * Manage and improve compliance and security posture scores (Purview Compliance Manager, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft benchmarks)
 * Collaborate with application and system owners to enhance cloud security configurations and maintain NIST benchmark alignment
 * Develop and maintain Intune security policies, conditional access, and application protection strategies
 * Lead hands-on engineering activities including solution design, proof-of-concepts, and continuous improvement initiatives
